Job Description The Nutrition Aide will report to the Nutrition Director. This person will be responsible for helping with food preparation, food inventory, and serving food to students. This candidate will need to have knowledge of general operation of basic cafeteria equipment and follow all State Health Requirements for food service workers. Must be able to properly communicate with the school's population. The position hours are 6:00 am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday. Responsibilities: Food preparation and distribution Managing food allergies Heavy lifting required (milk crates; food containers; etc) up to 50 pounds Assist with inventory of food, supplies, other items Basic knowledge of production records Basic computer knowledge (email, excel, computer programs) Organizing supplies, food items, paper goods Rotate supplies; FIFO; check dates; etc. Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment Cleaning equipment and workstations Sweeping and mopping floors...
