Job Description Title - Teacher for the Visually Impaired (2026-2027) Schedule - Full Time Location - NCOESC All Service Areas Job Summary Under general direction, provides in collaboration with the student's IEP team, consultation and/or direct services to students whose visual functioning interferes with educational performance. The TVI educates, supports, and collaborates with family members and other members of the instructional team who work with the learner with a visual impairment. The TVI must be able to convey professional opinions in a diplomatic, collaborative manner in order to ensure that appropriate programming is recommended for the student.
