Job Description Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Demonstrated understanding of student needs, ability and desire to work with special needs students. Assist student(s) with personal needs, including but not limited to hygiene, diapering, toileting and clothing. Ability to assist student(s) with multiple challenges in the classroom/school environment. Ability to follow through with prescribed behavioral management or instructional programs. Ability to maintain composure and communication during stressful situations. May need good physical flexibility such as ability to run, walk, lift and/or respond to student physical needs. Willingness to be trained in area(s) of student health related awareness and intervention.
