Job Description The Utica City School District is seeking ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) Teachers An ESOL teacher, or English for Speakers of Other Language teacher, helps non-native speakers learn English within the educational setting. This may include: Small groups pull-in/push-out services Newcomer classes. ESOL Teachers assist in screening non-native English speaking students Communicating with families helping students to achieve fluency success modify curriculum to meet the needs of English language learners, when applicable.
