Job Description REGIONAL SCHOOL UNIT NO. 57 Office of the Superintendent Waterboro, Maine 04087 SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER - RESOURCE ROOM REPORTS TO: Director and Assistant Director of Special Education & Building Administrators QUALIFICATIONS: Current Maine Teacher Certification appropriate for grade level and specialty area Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree Prior teaching experience preferred PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides diagnostic and evaluative services to assist in identification of students requiring special education services. This includes classroom observations, administration of appropriate evaluation instruments, diagnostic teaching and student/staff/parent interviews.
