Job Description Nature and Scope: The Literacy Specialist works directly with both teachers and students to support literacy development in students K-5. The Specialist works with students in general and special education, providing targeted instruction and intervention in literacy skills including decoding, reading fluency, and encoding. Job Description NATURE AND SCOPE The district Physcial therapist lead the process in development, implementation, and coordination of the Physcial therapy program. Screening, evaluation, educational program and transition planning, therapeutic intervention, and exit planning is provided for students identified with or suspected of having disabilities that interfere with their ability to perform motor based school activities or participate in necessary or desired school activities.
