Job Description Hours of assignment: 30 hours/week (6 hours/day - 9:05am - 3:35pm) Inclusive of 1/2 hour lunch 10 months per school year Starting pay rate for Aides: $18.90/hour Hourly stipends apply as follows: Split aide (assigned to both general education & PPS aide duties);UPK aide; Literacy aide; Primary Project aide; Health aide; Attendance aide -$0.50/hour PPS aide; job coach aide - $1.50/hour Teacher Aides may be required to provide personal care to students including toileting. Lifting may be involved. Aides may be working in life skills classrooms, job coaching or with special needs students. Duties: Monitor hallways Work with students in Regular Education settings Work one to one or in a small group setting in order to support and reinforce the instruction of the classroom or special education teacher. All general duties of teacher aide. May include assistance with communication device, toileting, diapering, etc....
