Job Description CAFETERIA VAN DRIVER This is a 190 Day/4 hour a day position. There are 2 open positions. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school diploma or equivalency. Demonstrates aptitude for successful performance of the responsibilities listed below. Must have a valid Driver's License. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate or acceptable. REPORTS TO: Director of Building and Grounds JOB GOAL: To deliver lunches to the satellite kitchens in an efficient, clean, and punctual manner. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Uses the cafeteria van to satellite food from the central kitchens to the designated schools. Picks-up daily receipts and makes the daily bank deposits. Maintains a sufficient time schedule in getting to and from the schools. Returns all pots, pan, supplies, unused food, etc., to the central kitchens. Job Description Minimum Criteria: Hold a valid NYS teaching certificate in tenure area; Possess a thorough knowledge of field; Demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm and good judgment; Demonstrate the ability to plan and organize for effective teaching and learning; Understand the nature and needs of the age group served; Able to develop and maintain productive human relationships; Previous classroom teaching experience preferred.
