Job Description POSITION PURPOSE: To improve student achievement by providing technical, consultative, and planning services in the areas of social and behavioral supports and programs designed specifically for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) ages 3-22. The specialist will visit classes on a regular basis to assist teachers to design and deliver ABA services to students. The autism specialist will also be available to provide training to staff as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides training for regular and special education teachers and para-educators in the development of appropriate programs based on individual needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
