Job Description Wissahickon Charter School is seeking Art Teachers for next school year. Art Teachers are responsible for teaching art to students in grades K-8. They are expected to enhance the school community by tapping into students' creativity and displaying student artwork throughout the building. They will develop and implement instruction that builds a positive classroom community and promotes academic and social/emotional growth. New employees are expected to attend New Teacher Orientation on August 13th and August 14th, as well as the week of staff professional development beginning August 17th. The first day of school for students is August 24, 2026. An SLCS Teacher is responsible for planning, instruction, activities, and assessments aligned with the SLCS curriculum.
