Job Description Position title: Science Teacher Reports to: Principal Employment category: Full-time/10-Month/Salaried FLSA status: Exempt POSITION SUMMARY Teachers are responsible for ensuring student achievement and learning by delivering appropriate and effective instruction to all assigned students and by providing students with the support and guidance they need to succeed. Teachers must strive for excellence in all facets of instruction and student learning, adjusting instruction to the needs of individual students, including those with IEPs. They must work collaboratively and coordinate instruction and assessment with other staff members. Regular and predictable attendance are essential functions of this position.
