Job Description Staunton City Schools , located in historic Staunton, Virginia in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, is seeking highly qualified applicants for a Special Education Teacher opening at A.R. Ware Elementary School for the 2026-27 academic school year. QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited college or university.Candidate must possess or be eligible to possess a professional license issued by VDOE with an endorsement to teach special education. 200 Day (10-month) Contract beginning late July 2026. Salary Range: $54,147 to $88,139 (based on 2026-27 Salary Scale). Positions opened until filled.
