Job Description JOB SUMMARY The Early Childhood Behavior Support Specialist provides training, coaching, consultation, and direct behavioral support for preschool programs, staff, students, and families. Under the direction of the Preschool Coordinator, the Office of Special Education, and in collaboration with school principals, the specialist supports the implementation of evidence-based behavioral and social-emotional practices within early childhood settings. Job Description Job Summary Position provides outpatient therapy services to students; develops prevention and intervention strategies; assesses students and families; provides case management; monitors student progress; and makes referrals. Position is primarily responsible for student access to services such as individual, group, and family therapy. Position is responsible for crisis intervention, peer/family counseling and support, screening, assessment, brief treatment, consultative services, education and engagement, linkage to community resources, outreach and advocacy.
