Job Description Summary: The School Psychology Intern carries out major professional functions of a school psychologist in a sequence of experiences designed to build their professional and technical skills. The various domains in which a School Psychology Intern will develop skills include: consultation, prevention and intervention, mental health services, data-based decision making, evaluation, and interpretation of psychological and educational data. Field-based supervision will be provided by a certified school psychologist employed by HCPS, in collaboration with a HCPS Psychological Services administrator and a university School Psychology program supervisor. A minimum of 1200 hours is required to complete this field experience.
