Job Description EASTCONN is hiring a Part Time evening Secretary for our Adult Education Program at the Community Learning Center in Willimantic. Position duties include adult student registration for programs and classes, greeting customers, data entry, administering assessments, and other secretarial duties. Candidate must have strong communication skills, be bilingual in English and Spanish, have effective organizational and technology skills. Position hours fluctuate based on class sessions; Monday-Thursday, in the evenings, either 12-4:30 or 1:30-8. Job Description Whether it's high school completion, job training, English language instruction, or parenting support, our Adult & Community Programs are designed to help all adult residents develop new, lifelong skills, expand options, and reach new goals. We are currently recruiting for a part time English Language Learner Teacher for adults at EASTCONN's Windham Community Learning Center location (Tyler Square). Multi-level evening classes will meet on Monday and Wednesday 5:30 - 8. The successful candidate will preferably have prior experience teaching ELL in Adult Education programs and be well versed in multicultural and differentiated learning. Experience working in a technology-rich classroom setting preferred. He/she must be able to engage the students in meaningful instruction, developing personalized, high-interest lessons.
