Job Description Job Title : English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor Reports To : Adult Education Lead Teacher Job Summary : Under general supervision, provides standards-based instruction to adult English language learners (17 years and older) to develop proficiency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in English. Prepares students for successful participation in workforce, postsecondary education, and civic life. Instruction is delivered in a multi-level, multicultural classroom using data-driven and differentiated instructional practices aligned to state ESL and College and Career Readiness standards.
