Job Description Title Code: Clerk: Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) JOB SUMMARY Provides clerical assistance to the administrative and teaching staff on matters related to special education. Work will include maintaining files, taking prior written notice, mailing documents, tracking timelines, and the use of office machines including a computer. Position serves as the collection and organization point, and disseminator of all paperwork related to the Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Assists special education staff with IEP process documentation including parent notification and follow-up to meetings. Tracks timeline for referrals, evaluations, and annual reviews. Completes Medicaid billing forms and SSIS forms. Utilizes the special education software to prepare related documentation.
