Job Description Music Teacher, Grades K-8 4 days per week, per school year Opportunity for 5th day of week as children's choir director for the church Reports to: Principal (and Pastor if optional 5th day) Responsibilities: Provide for the spiritual, moral, physical, emotional, and intellectual development of the children Help live, instill and motivate the Mission of St. Theresa School Teach General Music once weekly to K-6 following Diocese guidelines. Teach specialized classes as electives to grades 7-8 Follow Diocesan Curriculum Guidelines for Music Organize, direct and produce a Christmas Concert and Pageant for the parents/school community Provide music for all school Masses, usually weekly (school chorus sings under the music teacher's direction.)
