Qualifications: Must meet the qualifications and the performance responsibilities of the Board approved Job Description for Food Service Worker. This position must be willing and able to fill in for a head cook position (due to illness or planned absence). Must have clear BCI/FBI background checks dated within a year of employment. This individual must have demonstrated a positive rapport with students and staff. The qualified candidate must also show enthusiasm for food service work and assume responsibility with minimal direct supervision. Students who qualify may have goals in any of these areas: Academic Achievement, Fine motor, Gross Motor, Communication, Social-emotional behavior, Adaptive behavior, and Cognitive skills. The Itinerant Teacher will work with the child and parents or teachers for a minimum of one hour per week to monitor the child's progress on IEP goals and to help the parents or teachers continue activities throughout the week.
