Job Description POSITION PURPOSE : Provides interpreting services to deaf/hard of hearing students, their classmates, the educational staff and others involved in the educational setting. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Accurately interprets spoken and signed messages without censorship for deaf and hard-of-hearing students, classmates, educational staff and others involved in the educational setting. Participates in educational team meetings. Provides interpreting for other activities during the regularly scheduled school day as needed (i.e. field trips, IEP meetings, etc.).
