Job Description Functional Purpose The Director of Payroll manages, directs, and coordinates the activities of the payroll function to ensure the preparation, processing, and distribution of accurate and timely paychecks to employees. The position evaluates payroll processes to guarantee proper wage reporting, assesses internal controls in payroll processing and makes necessary recommendations for improvements.
