Job Description JOB SUMMARY The Highland Local School District is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Director to lead and manage our district-wide school nutrition program. The ideal candidate will be passionate about child nutrition, committed to food quality and safety and capable of administering a high quality, cost-effective and compliant food service operation that supports student health and academic success. SPECIFIC DUTIES Directs the effective delivery and continuous improvement of a district-wide food service program. Utilizes computerized software systems for food and non-food ordering, payroll, student data, menus, nutrient analysis, lunch participation, state and federal reports and all other related food service operations.
