Job Description POSITION PURPOSE: Teach, coach and mentor JROTC Cadets to improve their learning and leadership capabilities, and make them better citizens and community leaders, administer and manage the JROTC program effectively according to law, regulations, policies and principles. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Actively recruit students to join JROTC. Achieve desired learning goals by teaching prescribed JROTC subjects listed in the Program of Instruction. Modify and improve given instruction by remaining continuously alert to new and alternative instructional methods and motivational techniques. Maintain supply facilities in strict compliance with individual service security regulations. Comply with service and school district safety guidelines in all instances when instructing, supervising, monitoring, and accompanying or escorting cadets.
