Job Description General Purpose To provide assistance to the building principal, the students, the parents, the teachers and support personnel in the school's office to assure a smooth, friendly and efficient operation of the school office so that the office's maximum positive impact on the education of children can be realized. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities Perform the usual and necessary office routines and practices assigned by the principal. Keep attendance records of children and notify the principal when any child has been unexplained for a 3-day absence or an unusual absence trend. Compile and calculate various attendance reports. Maintain the finance books for the school. Maintain a record of teacher, principal, and support personnel's absences and the resulting substitutes.
