The Technology Applications (TA:TEKS) teacher is responsible for facilitating student learning of the Technology Application TEKS as well as joining into collaborative relationships with teaching staff to provide support for the integration of technology into instructional activities of the school. Assist in the attainment of district goals by maintaining an efficient textbook accountability, distribution, and recovery process. Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities 1. Request, distribute and verify State adopted textbooks, per District policy and procedures, under the supervision of campus principal and District Textbook Coordinator. 2. Distribute, assign, and collect books, manuals and supplies to/from students and teachers, including students transferring in/out of campus. 3. Recover, consolidate, and return all surplus State adopted textbooks and teacher manuals as requested by the District Textbook Coordinator. 4. Conduct annual physical audit/inventory of all State adopted textbooks, per District policy and procedures, including payment collection for all lost or damaged books/materials. 5.
