Job Description Position Summary: The Acton-Boxborough Regional School District, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to work as an ABA tutor in the Pathways Program at the RJ Grey Jr High. The Pathways Program is a well-supported classroom using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The program is designed to help children diagnosed with Autism reach their full potential. The students receive highly specialized instruction to each child with inclusion opportunities provided and supported as appropriate. The ABA Tutor position is an integral part of the program. Job Description Job Overview: The role of the ABA tutor at Boardwalk involves supporting students with diverse needs. The role of the ABA Tutor includes the following: implementing programs and curriculum developed by the special education teacher or related service providers, providing direct support to student's needs, including toileting and handwashing, responding to and supporting student behavior including aggressive behaviors, supporting students during inclusion opportunities such as lunch/recess/specials, data collection and entry, consultation, and material prep as needed.
