The Educational Diagnostician conducts diagnostic evaluations on students referred for special education services, adhering to state and local eligibility guidelines. Acts as a case manager and ombudsman between teachers, parents, students, the district, and community organizations. Plan school programs as appropriate. Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities 1. Utilizes extensive subject matter knowledge in providing consultative support to school staff through the multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) process, offering suggestions for strategies and interventions that may be implemented in the general education classroom to meet the needs of struggling students.
