Evaluate students for speech disabilities and provide services in communication skills to eligible students with communication disorders. Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities 1. Participate in the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) process, as applicable to the areas of need in speech/language. 2. Administer appropriate test instruments to students who are referred for consideration of eligibility as speech impaired (SI) and write reports to reflect the findings. Participate in the ARD/IEP committee meeting to select appropriate goals and objectives in the areas of speech and language to remediate areas of weakness identified in standardized testing and classroom performance. 4.
