Job Description Administrative Assistant - Special Education JOB GOAL: To perform administrative assistant work of considerable variety and complexity in support of the Executive Director of Special Education. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree preferred. Five years prior experience as an administrative assistant. Ability to interact with staff, parents and the general public in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining confidentiality. Knowledge of state and federal guidelines for special education. Proficient in word processing, use of office machines, computer operations to include use of internet, email, calendars, spreadsheets. Such alternatives to the above as the Executive Director of Special Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
