Job Summary The Learning & Development Program Team Leader is responsible for leading a team to effectively create and manage learning and development programs for team members and leaders across the organization. Learning solutions include leadership development, high-potential development and mentorship, and/or other non-technical subject areas as identified. This team member is responsible for assessing and identifying companywide developmental needs to drive business performance. This team member partners with the business to design impactful learning solutions that can be effectively implemented and whose progress can be tracked. Responsibilities Develop and lead a team of program managers, ensuring that performance expectations of the team are met consistently Hold team members accountable to identified deadlines Consult with business leaders across the organization to identify performance gaps and align programs with the needs of the organization Coach the team to design programs aligned with organizational needs and deliver them using a variety of modalities (instructor-led training, online, self-directed, etc.), including programs around onboarding, compliance, skill reinforcement/enhancement and career development Facilitate components of learning and development solutions as needed Evaluate existing program content and modify as needed Create and maintain a detailed strategy and communications plan that supports the implementation and delivery of programs Identify subject matter experts and facilitators and prepare them to deliver assigned content Lead a team to successfully partner with the design team to create new content Effectively collaborate with the learning experience team to track and report on learning interventions Research and benchmark external best practices Requirements Bachelor's degree (preferably within organizational development, learning and development, business or a related field) or equivalent experience required 2+ years of combined experience in development, instructional design, delivery of training or program management, preferably in a corporate environment Experience working within a learning management system Proficiency in leveraging project management software such as TFS, Microsoft Project, Jira, etc. Comprehensive knowledge of current instructional theories and principles applicable to blended learning and instructor-led instruction Attention to detail Ability to juggle tasks and projects simultaneously Ability to work independently or with a team Ability to receive large amounts of feedback in a positive and solution-focused manner Formal or informal leadership experience Working knowledge of adult learning theories and concepts as well as instructor-led and virtual instructional design theory and methods, various instructional methods and delivery options, and various software tools used in instructional design and training Ability to successfully deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment Ability to communicate and interact with senior leadership Ability to exercise a wide degree of initiative, creativity and latitude Flexible and pragmatic approach to getting things done Proven commitment to follow-through Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including advanced presentation/facilitation skills What'll Make You Special Advanced project management skills Demonstrated experience and success in developing leaders at multiple levels across an organization Subject matter expertise in adult learning and leadership development, including design and delivery of developmental workshops Experience facilitating peer-to-peer coaching and peer group interactions Knowledge of principles and methods for design of training programs and curricula, instruction of individuals and groups, media-based learning and measurement of training effectiveness Participation in previous leadership development programs The Company is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer, and does not discriminate in any hiring or employment practices.
