The Lead Teacher in our mixed age (ages 3-5) early years classroom plays a vital role in shaping our youngest learners' spiritual, intellectual, and emotional development by creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that supports the holistic growth of students. The Lead Teacher will be an integral part of a collaborative and committed founding team.
Responsibilities include:
-Implement a dynamic, international curriculum that integrates early childhood education standards with faith values, character education, and global themes.
- Support children's spiritual development through age-appropriate faith-based stories, prayers, and practices, and social-emotional skills through thoughtful routines, play-based learning, and positive guidance.
- Promote foundational literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking through hands-on, evidence based instruction.
- Assess students' progress on an ongoing basis, maintain accurate records, and prepare periodic progress reports and summaries for parents and supervisors.
- Prepare and organize the classroom environment, materials, and routines to support learning and foster independence.
- Maintain effective, respectful communication with families and engage them as partners in their child's learning.
- Collaborate with fellow educators, reflect on teaching practices, and participate in regular professional development.

Job Requirements Qualifications
-Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field
-MA Department of Early Childhood Education (EEC) Teacher Certification or demonstrated progress towards certification.
-Prior experience teaching young children in a structured early learning environment.
-A strong understanding of child development and inquiry-based instruction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with international or experiential education frameworks (e.g. Montessori, IEYC/IPC, Reggio Emilia, etc).
- Arabic language familiarity or proficiency.
- Understanding of foundational Islamic principles and values.
- Experience working in diverse or multicultural educational settings.
