EMIT Learning is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special needs through evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Assignment Details
  • Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Location: Connecticut
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Age group: Elementary, Middle, and High School
  • Total hours per week: 35-40 hours per week
  • Duration of Contract: School Year 2025-2026

Bonuses
  • Monthly Bonus: $150.00-$300.00
  • Christmas Bonus: $500.00
  • Completion Bonus: $1,000.00

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred)
  • Active RBT certification (Registered Behavior Technician credential from the BACB)
  • Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred)
  • Familiarity with ABA principles and data collection methods
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Reliable, flexible, and committed to student progress
  • Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a BCBA
  • Strong sense of responsibility, patience, and empathy

Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior intervention plans developed by a BCBA
  • Provide one-on-one or group-based ABA therapy to students
  • Collect and record data on student behaviors and progress
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors regularly
  • Support students in achieving social, emotional, and academic goals
  • Follow ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality at all times
