Job Opening: 7th12th Grade English Language Arts Teacher
Location: Village Christian School, Pleasant Plain, OH
Position Type: Full Time Teacher
Reports To: Principal, Superintendent
Position Overview:
Village Christian School is seeking a passionate, qualified English Language Arts
Teacher for grades 7 through 12. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of
literature and writing, strong classroom management skills, and a heart for nurturing
both academic and personal growth in students. This is an excellent opportunity to join

Minimum Qualifications:
? Valid Ohio Teaching License with 712 English Language Arts endorsement
? Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
? Successful completion of appropriate Ohio and/or FBI background checks
? Compliance with all state-mandated health requirements
? Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and
parents
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
? Strong knowledge of instructional strategies and curriculum design
? Effective classroom management and student engagement techniques
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Enthusiastic, flexible, and receptive to new ideas

? Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school-wide initiatives and
committees
