Job Description The Principal of Newington Public School provides visionary and instructional leadership for a small, community-centered school serving students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade. The Principal is an active participant in a high-quality educational program that supports academic achievement, fosters a positive and inclusive school culture, and strengthens strong partnerships with families and the broader Newington community. As the instructional leader of a PK-6 environment, the Principal promotes developmentally appropriate practices, supports early childhood through upper elementary learning, and leads continuous improvement efforts that reflect the unique needs of students and staff.
