Job Purpose: We are currently seeking a Senior Manager of Digital Learning Content to join our Professional Development Delivery (PDD) team to lead the development and implementation of a new on-demand, digital channel that will prove to be a truly interactive and engaging environment for IB educators around the world. As the Senior Manager of Digital Learning Content, you will report directly to the Head of PDD and oversee all aspects of delivery including product policies and procedures, platform business requirements, UX/UI, content strategy, real-time evaluation tools, system recognition features, data analytics and footprint. You will also act as a change agent for IB, garnering organization wide support and lead a shift in thinking to engage IB teachers to effectively leverage the channel for instruction and personal learning. Job Duties: Ensure Digital Learning business and technology requirements are understood at an enterprise & global level and the team implements processes, high quality outputs and builds according to best practice UX/UI and e-learning principles Continuously improve processes, digital content and output quality through operations management, stakeholder feedback, user analytics, programme/PD research and integration of new technologies Implement systems for the delivery of a range of digital services that support schools to improve teaching and learning Drive the testing of new models of content delivery and services Lead team to meet qualitative and quantitative KPIs, providing input to a roadmap for system growth and acceptance across all IB schools Collaborate on the execution of new / revised products and work with other departments to ensure seamless transition to operationalize the new / revised products Establish processes to deliver consistently high levels of quality content for online courses, modular content, and more modular microcontent Ensure continuous collaboration between Digital Learning and the learning design team to design, develop, and deliver product strategy and product pipeline priorities Establish processes and policies to ensure all curated content is aligned to IB's philosophy and approach to education, adult learning, and direction on digital learning Identify educator needs based on market analysis, user analytics, research, and customer feedback Collaborate with Professional Services team on a large-scale pipeline planning process for the development of new products and product updates throughout the year and communicate those developments to all stakeholders involved in the product life cycle Liaise with Head of PDD, Senior Manager of Learning and Development and other internal stakeholders to determine and report on budget as well as new PD developments for the year Manage vendors and contractor service, budget, SLAs and collaborate with IT on evaluating their performance Line manage the Content Curation Manager, who is accountable for the curation of content from the educator community Job Requirements: First degree or equivalent and around 6-8 years' relevant work experience in a related field managing a digital learning product/platform, preferably in an education environment Significant experience and sophisticated understanding of AI, content curation tools, content strategies, community collaboration tools, systemic integration, digital content partnerships, metadata, advanced search and recommend, and effective digital publishing practices, including IP and data privacy Experience in building the adoption and usage via a platform that serves a global audience, 24/7 Superior project management, strategic thinking and problem solving, communication and quality assurance skills Experience working with a variety of learning technology platforms, including designing, developing, testing and launching of a new digital platform Successful track record as a digital product manager, leveraging technology, staff and financial resources Experience creating a go to market strategy for a new digital platform Demonstrated experience in managing a digital learning product and digital projects with multiple stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds and tight deadlines High degree of flexibility and adaptability in an international and fast-changing work environment Prior experience working on adult learning programmes and peer to peer learning methodologies Excellent communication (in English) and team-building skills, proven skills in influencing others as well as consultative skill About the IB: The IB is a leading global not-for-profit educational organization that offers curriculum and assessment to almost 5,000 schools worldwide to children aged 3-19, as well as comprehensive professional development to support schools and educators.
