Job Description Position Summary The Part Time Beginning Teacher Support Specialist provides mentoring, coaching, and professional support to beginning teachers. This position is designed to promote teacher effectiveness, increase teacher retention, and support the successful transition of new educators into the profession through individualized coaching, classroom support, and professional development. Qualifications Valid Virginia teaching license. Minimum of 10 years of successful classroom teaching experience Demonstrated effectiveness in instructional practices and classroom management. Strong communication, collaboration, and coaching skills. Experience mentoring teachers preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality and establish positive professional relationships.
