Job Description Position Summary: The Acton-Boxborough Regional School District, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to work as an ABA tutor in the Pathways Program at the RJ Grey Jr High. The Pathways Program is a well-supported classroom using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The program is designed to help children diagnosed with Autism reach their full potential. The students receive highly specialized instruction to each child with inclusion opportunities provided and supported as appropriate. The ABA Tutor position is an integral part of the program. Job Description We are seeking Master's level candidates with their Board Certification in Behavior Analyst for this position who have demonstrated experience working with children with autism, ADHD, and other disabilities. Licensure as a special educator is preferred but not mandatory.. Qualified candidates should be able to conduct descriptive and systematic behavioral assessments, including functional analyses; providing behavior analytic interpretations of the results. The BCBA will teach others to carry out ethical and effective behavior analytic interventions based on published research and designs and will deliver instruction in behavior analysis.
