Position Summary:

The Acton-Boxborough Regional School District, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to work as an ABA tutor in the Pathways Program at the RJ Grey Jr High. The Pathways Program is a well-supported classroom using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The program is designed to help children diagnosed with Autism reach their full potential. The students receive highly specialized instruction to each child with inclusion opportunities provided and supported as appropriate. The ABA Tutor position is an integral part of the program. This work is performed in the classroom under the direct supervision of a Master's level Head Teacher and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Training is provided and is on-going.

Job Requirements

Qualifications include:

Four year college degree

Degree in education, special education, or psychology preferred

Experience with children with Autism is required

Must be the kind of person who is warm, caring, respectful and have a
strong desire to work with elementary age children

Familiarity and training with the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
preferred
