Job Description Position Title: Food Service Kitchen Manager (Elementary) Location: Little Highlanders Learning Center Reports To: Food Service Director and/or Early Childhood Director, Early Childhood Coordinator Status: Ten (10) month position; First day of school for students - Last day of school for students Hours: 6.50 hrs/day; 7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.; 32.25 hrs/week; FLSA Status: Non-exempt Summary: The Kitchen Manager Elementary provides support in our student nutrition program by assisting the Food Service Supervisor in the overall management and organization of the food service program all while providing excellent customer service to staff, students and families. Essential Functions: Turn on and off equipment as needed. Take temperatures of equipment twice a day and record on temperature logs. Clean and sanitize work area.
