Job Description St. Johnsbury Academy seeks a dynamic teacher to join their Science department. Founded in 1842, St. Johnsbury Academy is an independent, coeducational, boarding and day school for grades 9-12 and postgraduate year. Teaching assignments are likely to include more than one discipline, such as biology and chemistry or chemistry and physics. An additional course assignment of AP Physics is possible for the qualified candidate but is not required for this position. Success in this position requires the ability to engage and support the spectrum of learners from reluctant to enthusiastic. Candidates with the interest and ability to help coach afterschool science competition teams are especially encouraged to apply.
