Job Description Report to School Leader School Overview Greater Egleston High School is a Boston Public Pilot School serving approximately 125 students in grades 9-12. Located in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, the school was originally established as a community-based initiative to support students in need of alternative pathways to academic success. We serve students ages 16-21 who are seeking an alternative to a traditional high school setting. Our programming supports motivated students who are overage and under-credited in accelerating their progress toward a high school diploma through a semesterised schedule, rolling admissions, and tiered systems of support. Job Description Course Description: In Culinary Arts, students will learn the necessary skills that are essential in any culinary environment: advanced culinary techniques, budgeting, and menu creation. The project will end with a community based pop-up kitchen that pushes the boundaries of traditional flavor profiles while maintaining rigorous standards of execution, sustainability, and kitchen management.
