Job Description Position: Carpenter Senior IV Facilities Department Position Overview: Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities or their designee, a successful candidate will perform skilled carpentry work for the construction, maintenance and repair of structures throughout the district. Work is performed in an industrial environment and involves exposure to hazardous chemicals, strong odors, drafts, noise, heat, cold, dust, grease, and dirt with extended periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, lifting light to very heavy objects and equipment, climbing, and working in confined spaces. The work consists primarily of repairs, installations, build outs and other common general maintenance. This position requires a self-starter, energetic individual eager to learn and shift priorities based on departmental needs.
