Job Description Cape Elizabeth Middle School is seeking a dynamic general artist/educator to teach 5th - 8th Grade Art as well as lead a Homebase Class as a part of CEMS' Advisory program. We are looking for a candidate who loves and understands middle school learners and can engage students with varied media and techniques, fostering experimentation and personal voice, providing meaningful feedback, and supporting students' academic and social growth. The ideal candidate will: Have or be able to acquire in the first two years of employment, current State of Maine certifications in K-12 Art Education Demonstrate a commitment to middle school philosophies of teaching and learning.
