Job Description Independence Local Schools Media Center Assistant Independence Primary School Reports to: Building Principal Position Summary The Media/Library Assistant is responsible for managing the school library, fostering a love of reading, and supporting student learning by providing access to resources, technology, and different genres of literature. This position serves as both an instructional partner and an information specialist, collaborating with teachers to integrate library and digital resources into the curriculum. Additionally, the library aide will support the school's social-emotional learning (SEL) initiatives by delivering guided SEL lessons in classrooms to supplement the curriculum provided by the school guidance counselor.
