Job Description School Counselor WRSD is seeking a qualified School Counselor to provide individual and group counseling for deaf and hard of hearing students in a Total Communication setting. The Counselor will work with teaching staff to develop behavior programs; subscribe to and support the school's educational and communication philosophy; and provide services and direction to parents and families of our students in the areas of communication, behavioral plans, medical issues, and social/emotional growth. Primary Duties Provide weekly counseling sessions to students assigned to caseload. Provide weekly group counseling sessions. Act as a liaison to the school for new students and families.
