Job Description High School Science Teacher- Chemistry SY 2026/2027 Position Purpose Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to develop students' skills and competence in Chemistry and the ability to problem solve in a wide variety of settings. • Performance Responsibilities Develops and administers high school chemistry curriculum consistent with school district goals and objectives. Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning. Plans lesson plans and instructional materials. Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning. Maintains a system for accurate and complete record-keeping, grading, and attendance as required by the CBA agreement between the Medford Public Schools and the Medford Teachers Association.
