Job Description 192 days/year 7.5 hours/day Start pay $20.30/hour Overview: The Library Aide will assist librarians in the operation of the library and the associated tasks. Key Responsibilities: Assists in the organization of the library to include processing, cataloguing, and distributing books. Assists librarian in the smooth and efficient operation of the library on a daily basis. Processes and catalogues books and other library materials. Checks books out to students and staff. Assists librarians with special events; school book fairs, author visits. Maintains proper overdue notices. Performs clerical functions associated with the operation of the library. Assists in maintaining inventory. Assists with textbook needs at the Middle School and High School. Keeps shelves clean and organized. Instructs students in the proper use of materials and equipment.
