Job Description Kitchen Helper 8:30am - 1:30pm 5 Hours per day 183 Days per year SUMMARY: To assist in the preparation and serving of food to students/staff in a quick and professional manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform daily food preparation as assigned, including but not limited to salad making, sandwich making, deli slicing, cookies, pretzels, etc. Implement H.A.C.C.P. procedures as requested. Assist with the daily cleaning of all kitchen equipment and ensure cleanliness and sanitation conditions are met. Sets up and breaks down serving lines (salad bar, hot food, a la carte, etc.). Ability to perform all responsibilities of a helper, including but not limited to, operate all equipment, POS/cash register, count money, make change, and reconciliation of bank deposit and daily paper work.
