Job Description Position Summary The 5th Grade Science Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing instruction aligned with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study (NCSCOS) for science. The teacher will create engaging, hands-on, and inquiry-based learning experiences that promote scientific thinking, curiosity, and academic achievement while supporting the developmental needs of elementary learners. Employees in this class perform journey-level electrical work in the installation and repair of electrical wiring, circuits, fixtures, panel boxes, and outlets.
