Job Description Position Summary The 5th Grade Science Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing instruction aligned with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study (NCSCOS) for science. The teacher will create engaging, hands-on, and inquiry-based learning experiences that promote scientific thinking, curiosity, and academic achievement while supporting the developmental needs of elementary learners. The teacher will foster a positive learning environment that prepares students for success in upper grades and future STEM learning opportunities.
